Check The New Bike Charges Released By The Student Union Government

At the reconvened meeting of Student Union Government Executives and Departmental & Schools Presidents with the Institution Registered Bike Riders Executives held on , the meeting noted as follows: – That the Bike price was hiked/increased without the Knowledge of the Student Union Government, which was said to be totally wrong, of which the Bike Riders Association plead to the SUG for not informing them before hiking the price due to the just Concluded Strike Exercise. – that Some Bike Men are charging Students (Especially freshers) nothing less than #200 for transport fare from their residents to school. – that all students should be careful of bikes they board because not all bikes are registered with the School. Students are to recognize School registered bikes through the banners and tags used by the Registered Bike Riders. – The Bike Riders association insist the price was hiked to #150 due to the increase in price of Fuel which was opposed by the Student Union and Presidents bodies as a wrong step. – It was later raised by the SUG President that the Bike Price should be reduced from #150 to #80 but the bike riders association insist it can only be reduced to #120. – After a long run of discussion, it was later agreed by both parties that the Bike Price will Officially be reduced to #100 (i.e #50 per Student). Which we think is still endurable for all Students for the mean time until the fuel Price will be reduced. – The #100 (#50 per student) will only be effective for students living in any Students Jurisdiction like Apinnite, Ajegunle, Challenge, Irewole, Komi, Otun. – It was Concluded by both parties that this Change In Price will take effect as from Monday, 12th February, 2018. -Any Student going to any destination exceeding the last bike stand at any Area attracts extra charges(it is advised to ask for the bike stand at your area before boarding bikes to avoid delays/Misunderstanding). This is to inform the entire student of The Oke-Ogun polytechnic, Saki (TOPS) that the price listed below is the SUG Official bike man charges for their service rendered.
