SUG TOPS HASTENS THE STEP OF GETTING THE DISTRIBUTION OF SOURVENIRS ACROSS TO THE STUDENTS QUICKLY (

“The students have every right to have their various souvenirs as at when due and this we are working assiduously in making it a reality”. These were the wo

rds of the President of the TOPS Students’ Union who justified the assertion of the Executives giving their best towards making sure that the students’ interests are protected on every side and given what belongs to them.

Speaking with the President, he further explained that the leadership of the students Union are trying everything in their capacity to see that they have access to their souvenirs on or before 15th of May, 2017 as students have been requesting about the said souvenirs. The President also made it known to the students that “souvenirs are not only what the leadership of the SUG under Com. Komolafe Emmanuel Dare is set to give the students, the students should be prepared and anticipating to witness the different series of programmes and events the SUG is willing to introduce. He also said that the said projected day actually is the date the Students’ Union will be kickstarting their SUG Week that will run from 15th of May to 20th of May, 2017.

For clarification to the students, the President thinks the best way of leadership is “Leading by example and reflecting the life of leadership by being responsible to the subjects to which the Leaders lead” and on this premise, the President decides to give every student the opportunity to have an insight to what the SUG are doing in representing them and how the quality souvenir is previewed to show them what the souvenir is going to be like.

This will be the very first time that this will be coming on in the history of the Students’ Union Government of The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic, Saki where students opinion are sought for in making decisions on matters that concerns them considerable. The President also made a commitment to keep fighting for the interests and rights of the students as far as himself and the members of his team are concerned.
